Two cranes were used for the majority of the pavilion build. Restricted space on the street, meant that this 55 ton crawler crane was lifted onto the roof of the car park. This was achieved by removing the latice boom and then lifting from the street to the roof of the car park with the help of a 500 ton mobile crane. Note the use of steel spreaders under the crawler tracks to help spread the load down into the car park.
