An odd photo showing 5 of the holes through which the lake drained. The lake contained 2,200 cubic meters of water. This was drained through ten off 500mm diameter pipes into a huge storage tank around the central chamber. Full drainage took place in 3 minutes. This means we were draining 3,000kg of water every second. Everyone wonders how the water disappeared so quickly - think big.
