At Stagelink we take privacy seriously.
Please let us know in case you have any questions as to the following provisions.
As of May 2018
Stagelink collects and uses your personal data only in the context of applicable data protection regulations, in particular, those of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (German Federal Data Protection Act) and from 25 May 2018 those of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO/GDPR). Below we inform you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data.
The responsible body for the processing of your personal data is:
Stagelink GmbH, Legiendamm 8, 10179 Berlin, Germany

Subject of data protection
The subject of data protection is personal data. This Includes all information that refers to an identified or identifiable natural person ("person concerned"), e.g. information such as name, postal address, email address, or telephone number, but also usage data. Usage data is the type of data that is required to use our websites, such as information about the beginning, end, and extent of the use of our websites and login data.
In principle, we collect and use your personal data only insofar as this is necessary for the provision of a functional website as well as our content and services, and only to the extent that you have consented to or as far the data processing is permitted by law.
Legal basis of data processing
Art. 6 para 1b GDPR is the legal basis for the processing of your personal data, which we need to fulfil a contract with you. This also includes such processing operations that serve to carry out pre-contractual measures.
If we are obliged to process personal data in order to fulfil a legal obligation, the legal basis is Art. 6 para 1c GDPR.
Insofar as the processing of your personal data is carried out by a third party or us to safeguard a legitimate interest and none of your interests, fundamental rights or fundamental freedoms outweigh this legitimate interest, the data processing is based on Art. 6 1f GDPR.
As far as we obtain your consent for the processing of personal data, the legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para 1a GDPR.
Collection and use of your data
Automated data collection
When accessing Stagelink's websites, your Internet browser automatically communicates data for technical reasons, which is temporarily logged by default on our web servers. The following information is stored separately from any other information you may submit to us: Date and time of access, browser type/version, operating system used, URL of previously visited website, amount of data sent.
This data is never assigned to a specific or identifiable person. The storage by the system is necessary to enable the delivery of our websites to your device and to ensure the functionality of the websites. Beyond that, the data is used to optimise our websites and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. Our legitimate interest in the processing of data for this purpose (Art. 6 para 1f GDPR).
Stagelink needs your contact details and any other data sent to us by email or through a contact form in order to be able to respond to requests, questions, and criticism.
Furthermore, Stagelink gives you the opportunity to personalise your profile. For this purpose, you as an end user can change information, i.e. your telephone number, your email address and/or interests. As a user with "manager" status, you can also upload or modify artist profile pictures and/or videos. This information is voluntary and is not required to register on the Stagelink websites.
The legal basis for the processing of the voluntarily submitted data is, in case of consent, Art. 6 para 1a GDPR or in your own legitimate interest (Art. 6 para 1f GDPR). If a communication aims at the conclusion of a contract, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para 1b GDPR.
When visiting the website, Stagelink will create usage profiles using pseudonyms for purposes of advertising, market research, or website design. Only usage data is used. This includes, in particular, features for the identification of the user, information about the beginning and end and scope of use of our website, as well as registration data. There is no merging with the data regarding the person behind the pseudonym. You may object at any time to the use of your data for such purposes with future effect. All you need to do is send an informal message to the above contact details.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para 1f GDPR. The purposes mentioned represent our legitimate interest in data processing.
Disclosure of data
To provide services, we occasionally may have to rely on third-party companies and external service providers, e.g. for advertising, customer service, payment processing (PayPal, credit card, direct debit) and the hosting or maintenance of our websites (IT service provider).
Stagelink will disclose your payment information to Paymill or PayPal for the processing of payment, provided that the payment is processed by credit card, direct debit (both Paymill) or PayPal (Art. 6 para 1b or Art. 49 para 1b GDPR).
In this context, the data may be transmitted to the USA or other states outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area, in which the EU Commission has not established any level of data protection comparable to the EU. In this case, we will ensure that the recipient applies either an adequate level of data protection, in particular by obtaining your explicit prior consent, self-certification by a US-based recipient of the EU-US Privacy Shield, or by agreeing to so-called EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the recipient in the third country. A copy of these standard contractual clauses is available on request at the above contact details.
